Mantra booklet ‘Mantra’s to sing along, for inspiration, joy and freedom’
This page is written in English since it’s the language used in the mantra booklet. In English so it is available to a larger public.
This booklet was born out of many requests of my yoga students. With the help of beautiful Birgitta, who took care of the lay-out and a lot of the pictures. Thank you Birgitta! We sing mantra’s in class and students were looking for a way to be able to sing outside of class. Something I love to contribute to since mantra singing is such a helpful, inspirational and joyful ‘medicine’ to contribute to our wellbeing.

“Sing, sing, sing and let your heart dance!”
Here's a mantra I composed and recorded together with a friend who plays the piano and sings along. It is also included in the booklet. The lyrics came to me in Spanish, maybe because my first great love was a Spanish man!
Lyrics & explanation mantra
It’s a mantra that helps me remember the ever present love which is always there.
Lyrics
Mi corazon, mi corazon
Mi corazon tan suavesito
Me quiero a mi mismo*
Translation
My heart, my heart
My heart so gentle
I love myself**
For the linguistic purists among you, if you are a woman singing this song, it should be ‘me quiero a mi mismA, but then it would loose it’s rhyme…..
** For the ‘I’ caught up in itself it is impossible to love itself. It’s about the reminder of a deeper, all-encompassing love. An all accepting love that embraces also the sense of not loving oneself.
